- State Commissioner Matthew Abo confirmed eight farmers were killed on their way to farms in Ukum LGA on May 10, while the council boss described the curfew as temporary.
- The curfew aims to curb further violence and will be reviewed based on security improvements amid continuing fears of attacks in the region.
