- Perak police arrested the 40-year-old lorry driver, whose drug test was negative, and investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing according to Police Chief Bakri Zainal Abidin.
- Final honours with full police protocols were held at the FRU Unit 5 base with over 500 attendees, highlighting the national mourning and the officers’ dedication to duty.
