A 11-year-old boy was electrocuted when he stepped on a snapped electric line at Papparkottam in Ramanathapuram district on Friday. Police said D. Koushik of Papparkottam, while playing near his house, stepped on an electric wire which got snapped as a tree fell on it during the rains on Thursday night.

A 15-year-old working on the second floor of a work in Villa La Tela neighborhood turned out this Friday with burns when he accidentally touched a high-voltage cable.According to police sources, the incident occurred in a work located on Aviador Valenti Street and the young man resulted in burns on his arms and back.He was assisted by Duar staff and then transferred to the Instituto del Quemado.
