A 30-year-old Alberta man died after a crane collapsed at a Saskatoon construction site, and provincial safety officials are now investigating.

A second worker, aged 37, was also injured in the collapse. Saskatoon Police Service did not say where he was from. The site's prime contractor said Sunday that worker had "minor injuries."
