Alderman of The Hague resigns immediately over caravan dossier

This week, the Housing Councillor was accused by an advocacy group of discrimination against Roma and Sinti.

Martijn Balster (PvdA) is resigning as alderman in The Hague. He will resign from his aldermanship with immediate effect, he announced in a letter to the city council. He got into trouble because he unexpectedly resigned the caravan dossier on Wednesday morning.
