Almere City on the brink of the abyss after defeat against Sparta Rotterdam

The curtain has all but fallen for Almere City in the Eredivisie. After the 0-3 defeat against Sparta Rotterdam, the team of coach Jeroen Rijsdijk is on the brink of relegation to the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Sparta Rotterdam remains in the race for a place in the play-offs for European football after a win over Almere City FC. The Rotterdam team, coached by Maurice Steijn, won 3-0 in Almere.
