African dust cloud hits Portugal

An air mass from the deserts of North Africa, carrying suspended dust, will reduce air quality in mainland Portugal from today, the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) warned.

The episode will begin this Friday in the southwest and will extend to the whole Community.
