According to experts, the greatest risk is during charging.

Wednesday's explosion in a block of flats in Ostrava was apparently caused by an electric scooter, police have confirmed. However, it is not yet clear whether the explosion was caused by a battery, a technical fault or perhaps unprofessional handling. Police spokeswoman Eva Michalíová told reporters on Friday. Detectives are investigating the case as a crime of public danger due to negligence.
