Asbestos found under the Jahn sports park

The Berlin Senate has decided to draft a development plan for a part of the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark in the district of Pankow. It will now be submitted to the House of Representatives for approval.

There is still controversy surrounding the ongoing demolition of the former home grounds of the GDR's serial champions, BFC Dynamo. Asbestos was recently discovered.
