ASI to probe if carved stone columns found are historic

During excavation for a new construction project in Thane's Tembhi Naka area, workers unearthed broken pieces of carved stone columns. Local historians speculate these fragments might originate from an ancient-era structure, possibly a temple. The Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Maharashtra State, has been alerted and will investigate the findings next week to determine their historical significance.
