In a landmark decision, Mizoram's legislative assembly has resoundingly approved a resolution to elevate the Mizo language into the esteemed 8th Schedule of the Constitution. Chief Minister Lalduhoma praised the Mizo Language Development Board for its integral contribution and reassured residents that this advancement will not jeopardize the Mizo community's Scheduled Tribe status.
