DETROIT LAKES — As cultural liaison Mike Swan sat in the Detroit Lakes High School commons, he scanned a line of roughly 30 graduating students who earned an eagle feather, waiting to bless and receive the feather and don a handmade quilt during an Eagle Feather ceremony on Wednesday, May 14.
