On Monday (May 5, 2025) at around 10:00 p.m., two men who had not been known until now attacked a discounter's branch on Wiesenstrasse in Kleve. Probably the perpetrators had hidden in the sales room until the end of the shop. They threatened the employees with knives and demanded the release of cash.
