The body of a Kill Devil Hills man has been recovered in the Atlantic. Between 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Carlson “B.J.” Johnson III, 49, left Oregon Inlet with his dog in an 18-foot gray Maycraft for some recreational fishing.
