In Cameroon, the election management agency Elecam and the UN signed a collaboration agreement on 9 May to "optimize the elections in Cameroon, in an approach aimed at enhancing the transparency and inclusiveness of the electoral process". Cameroon is preparing for the presidential elections in October 2025. But the opposition party Maurice Kamto, the MRC, denounces the exclusion of political parties.
