‘Catastrophic’ wildfire risk at Trinidad mountain development prompts veteran-led volunteer group to deploy to area for fire mitigation operation - The Chronicle

Santa Fe Trail Ranch, a forested community of approximately 16,400 acres and around 500 residents, could be the site for a potential wildfire disaster, according to officials, which prompted Team Rubicon, an all-volunteer veteran-led organization, to conduct a fire mitigation operation back on the weekend of May 2 through May 4.
