COA opens 'service center' for asylum seekers in Zutphen

The centre is a kind of intermediate form, where asylum seekers can await the first phase of their asylum procedure. The centre is due to be put into use in 2028.

The new centre in Zutphen where foreigners go through the first weeks of their asylum application must remain there for at least thirty years. After the first registration by name in Ter Apel, asylum seekers come by bus to the ‘service centre’ that is yet to be built.
