College notes: Emmaus grad Michelle Cox helps Penn State place eighth in Big Ten golf tourney

Michelle Cox wrapped up her season with the Penn State women’s golf team by finishing tied for 40th in a field of 83 at the Big Ten Conference Championship last weekend in Havre De Grace, Maryland. Cox, from Allentown and an Emmaus High graduate, posted a 54 hole total of 224 on rounds of 76, 70 and 78. Her second round was two under par.
