Minister De La Gasca Declared as “Extreme Mechanism” the Possible Constituent Assembly - Ecuador in Direct

During the installation session of the new National Assembly, for the period 2025-2029, held on Thursday, May 15, the Minister of Government, José De la Gasca, described the possible convening of a Constituent Assembly as "an extreme mechanism", after the ruling party achieved full control of the legislative directive.

After co-opting the direction of the National Assembly, constitutional changes may go for the Assembly.
