Consultations on Pensions: the End of the Discussions, Originally Scheduled for 28 May, Postponed to 17 June

The "conclave", launched in January by François Bayrou to rework the 2023 pension reform, will enter its final and most crucial phase in June, that of the actual negotiation.

According to the new calendar, Jean-Jacques Marette, the moderator of the consultation, will next week hold bilateral meetings with each of the organizations to take stock.

The consultation process, launched in January, is entering a more technical phase in which arbitrations must take place on the most sensitive parameters of the case.

At the end of a new meeting, the social partners who are still taking part in the consultation on pensions, the former conclave, now give themselves until 17 June to reach an agreement, they explained on Thursday, 15 May 2025.The programme previously provided for the end of the financial year on 28 May.
