Content Creators Push Back on AI Using Their Work | Boots & Sabers

Summary by bootsandsabers.com
I’m with the content creators on this one. One could make the argument that having an AI model scoop up copyrighted material for training is okay as long as the model doesn’t actually copy it. In that sense it would not be any different than a person reading a book or listening to a song and using that knowledge to inform some future work. But there isn’t anything that prevents an AI model using the material in a way that violates the copyright.
