Council Has Tense Argument Over East Bank Water System
During the May 8 Plaquemines Parish Government (PPG), there was a major blow-up between council members over an ordinance that would have appropriated “$7.5 million to be spent over 5 years” for East Banks Water Projects had it passed. However, after a long argument over this ordinance—which saw council members become incredibly frustrated, yell at one another, and make claims of unfair treatment—it was deferred to the next May meeting.
