The County of Renfrew has completed the section of the Algonquin Trail that runs through Garrison Petawawa and on Friday, May 9, it was officially opened. This project creates a scenic, continuous recreational trail from Arnprior to Deep River, linking the overall Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail (OVRT) from Smith Falls to Deep River.
