Care in Starnberg: Too Few Places in Day Care

About 5200 people in the district are in need of care, most of them are cared for at home. Day care can relieve relatives, but there are no places. Time for community commitment, sufferers demand.

Despite the creation of nearly 30,000 day care spaces over the past four years, almost as many children are still waiting to get a place.

Statistics from 2024 indicate that Curitiba has 11,000 children waiting for daycare spots, according to the State Public Defender's Office.
