DANVILLE, Va. — In light of ongoing budget discussions, the Star-Tribune filed a Freedom of Information Act request for salaries of all Danville City government employees.

Some employees of government departments under Taliban control report delays in salary payments and say that salaries for the months of Haram and Thawr have not been paid yet. One employee attributes the delay in salary payments to the Taliban leader’s delay in signing the budget document.
