Down to the foundation and deeper: A bucket was thrown into the crooked house on Lubja Street

In mid-April, the owners of apartments in a collapsed residential building on Lubja Street in Tartu and the building's builder, Mapri Ehitus, reached an agreement that the builder would demolish the collapsed building and build a new one on the same site. An excavator will be making noise on Lubja Street on Monday.

Mapri Ehitus today began demolishing a house on Lubja Street that had sunk to a steep angle and was declared uninhabitable in March. The work is expected to take approximately two weeks.
