In a first for the Dutch justice system, the Public Prosecution Service (OM) has successfully seized the home of a convicted drug criminal to pay for the cleanup of an illegal drug lab, officials confirmed in an exclusive interview with NH Nieuws.

On Friday 16 May, the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) obtained an order to seize several properties belonging to Ashley Rose and her wife, Marie Michaëlla Rose. Among these properties is a residence in Roche Bois, nicknamed the "Palais de Batterie Cassée", estimated at Rs 9 million.
