HATTIESBURG, Miss (WXXV) — The East Central Lady Hornets are officially the MHSAA Softball State Champions for the 5A class! The Lady Hornets swept Lafayette — winning 10-3 on Tuesday and 10-6 on Wednesday — to claim their first title since 2013. Abby Danis was named the Most Valuable Player for the 5A championship series.
