KAWARTHA LAKES-An employee was tackled and assaulted during an attempted robbery in Lindsay. On May 14th 2025, at 4:14pm police were called to a robbery in progress at a business on Kent Street West in Lindsay.  Store employees observed a female suspect concealing items in a large tote bag, and attempting to exit the store.  The victim confronted the suspect, who was then tackled and assaulted according to police.    The suspect exited the store…
