Junqueras Argues that Catalan Has to Be "Fully Official" in the European Union
ERC President Oriol Junqueras said this Saturday that Catalan has to be "fully official" in the European Union and that it should be able to be used "in all areas" of the Community institutions. In statements to journalists since the Aplec del Cargol de Lleida, Junqueras referred to the negotiations to approve the officiality of Catalan at the meeting of the EU General Affairs Council next Tuesday at which the issue will be addressed.
