A 46-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday at the Innsbruck Regional Court for the crime of murder. The jury found it proven that the local man intentionally killed a 54-year-old acquaintance by stabbing him in the neck in his apartment in Fieberbrunn, Tyrol (Kitzbühel district) at the end of October 2023. The verdict was not yet final.

Both the prosecutor's office and the defense did not make any statement at first. The jury's verdict was unanimous on murder at eight to zero.
