Fires in Various Parts of Finland - A Dire Warning From the Fire Chief: "It's Worth Holding Back"

The Finnish Meteorological Institute's warning map is yellow-green for the weekend. There have been several wildfires in Central and Northern Finland on Friday. The Kainuu Rescue Service reported wildfires in Kuhmo and Suomussalmi during the afternoon. In Northern Savo, land has burned at least in Keitele, in Central Finland in Kyyjärvi and in Northern Ostrobothnia in Ii.
