Flanders needs migrant workers, not just foreign academics

The Flemish government reserves access to the labour market for highly skilled migrants, largely excluding non-European graduates. However, many sectors in short supply are struggling to recruit, whether they are construction workers, truck drivers or waste pickers. An ideological approach, disconnected from economic realities, which is detrimental to the Flemish economy as a whole.
