Guinea: Former President Alpha Condé's Party Denounces the Arrest of His Secretary, Sékou Condé

The Gathering of the People of Guinea (RPG), party of former President Alpha Condé, announced the arrest on Thursday 15 May of its Permanent Secretary Sekou Condé. He was about to address the activists at the party headquarters in Gbessia, Conakry, when police officers and gendarmes stopped the rally. According to the party, he wanted to denounce the behaviour of the leaders of the party supporting the junta.
