Following the hailstorms that hit Beijing and Hebei on May 13, Beijing was hit by hail again on May 16. According to videos posted by netizens, hailstones as big as pigeon eggs were seen hitting vehicles, and some vehicles hid under bridges to avoid danger and were afraid to move, resulting in road congestion.
