SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION-TV) - Several lanes of Highway 101 were shut down just after 7:30 Friday evening. According to CHP, the southbound lanes are closed for an unknown amount of time, while northbound lanes reopened just after 8:15 p.m. Several witnesses report several police vehicles driving quickly on southbound Highway 101 through Salinas and Gonzalez.
