The General Prices-10 Index (IGP-10) recorded an unexpected drop in May, 0.01%, falling by the second month following the fall of 0.22% in April, as a result of the fall in gross raw materials prices, according to data published by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) this Saturday (16). Analysts consulted by Reuters expected an increase of 0.17% on the monthly basis. In 12 months, IGP-10 went up 7.54%.
