Imphal airport expansion work on track, likely to be over by ’27

The expansion and modernization of Imphal airport, stalled by violence and landslides, is now back on track and expected to be completed by 2027. The new terminal will significantly increase passenger handling capacity and incorporate local architectural designs. Additionally, passenger-friendly facilities and the promotion of traditional Manipuri fabric are being introduced.
