The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is investigating effective examples of curriculum and class organization to improve Japanese language instruction at night junior high schools. As the number of foreign residents in Japan reaches a record high, there are many cases where Japanese language classes are needed at night junior high schools due to the increase in foreign students.
