Jackson Street Pier to close to vehicles on summer concert nights

To support public safety during large summer events, the city of Sandusky will close the Jackson Street Pier to vehicle traffic on concert days throughout the summer. On Thursdays between June 12 and Aug. 7, the pier will be closed to vehicles beginning at 4 p.m. for both the Party at the Pier and Lange Trust Summer Concert Series, according to a news release.
