Kalyan Dombivli civic body demolishes illegal constructions in Baneli area - The Times of India

Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) intensified its crackdown on illegal constructions by demolishing 167 plinths and three completed illegal rooms in the Baneli area of Titwala. The action, led by Assistant Municipal Commissioner Pramod Patil, faced local opposition but was carried out under heavy security. This follows recent criticism of KDMC regarding 65 illegal buildings constructed with forged documents.
