Kolo Road to reopen in summer
KILAUEA — The Hawaii Department of Transportation HDOT has scheduled Kolo Road to close for eight weeks beginning Monday. The intersection of Kolo Road and Kuhio Highway in Kilauea will be permanently closed to allow HDOT crews to construct a sidewalk and continue roundabout road work.
