This year's Eurovision is being held in Basel after Switzerland's victory last year, when Nemo won first place with the song The Code.

The representatives of 15 countries who will present themselves in the first semi-final on Tuesday have a busy day ahead of them: first, there will be final rehearsals, and then the so-called general jury test.

The Swiss city of Basel is set to get a hot buzz on Tuesday night as 15 countries compete for 10 spots in the Eurovision Song Contest. The first semi-final is a visual masterclass, packed with lighting effects, fire and men in high heels. Tommy Cash takes the stage in fourth place.
