Longmont’s Union Reservoir swim beach opening delayed

Longmont is delaying the opening of the swim beach at Union Reservoir because of low water levels, following a safety review with recreation staff members, park rangers and risk management employees, according to the city. Union Reservoir Swim Beach Opening Delayed

Due to unsafe conditions and low water levels, the swim beach at Longmont’s Union Reservoir will not open on Memorial Day weekend. The city said it might not open fully until later this summer.
