Ten "Dead and Partially Ejected" Toucans Discovered in a Truck From Spain, Ongoing Investigations

Ten toucans, "dead and partially ejected", were discovered in early May in north-eastern France by customs and were stored in a truck from Spain.

The officers of the Thionville Customs Brigade discovered this illegal shipment during the truck control on 7 May on the A31 motorway. Some were already stacked and staged on a display.

On 7 May last, Thionville customs officers seized ten dead toucans in a heavy-duty truck on the A31, which was coming from Spain and going to the Netherlands. The Spanish dispatcher would not be on his test in this regard.
