Authorities on Monday released the name a 26-year-old man who died over the weekend in a traffic accident on eastbound state Route 78 in Vista. Hunter Michael Bean of Escondido was standing outside his disabled pickup truck on the highway east of Vista Village Drive when another vehicle struck him at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
