Pollster Who Predicted Trump Victory Says Polish PiS Ahead in Presidential Race

On Sunday's first round of the election, the pro-European liberal mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, a favourite in the polls, is opposed to an ultra-conservative rival, Karol Nawrocki, who plays the American card.

Pollster who predicted Trump victory says Polish PiS ahead in presidential race

One of the few pollsters to correctly predict US president Donald Trump’s election victory in 2024 is tipping Conservative (PiS) candidate Karol Nawrocki for a surprise first round victory in Poland's presidential election beginning May 18.  Source

According to the latest poll by IBRiS for Polsat News, Rafał Trzaskowski maintains an advantage of almost 6 percentage points over PiS candidate Karol Nawrocki. Sławomir Mentzen is losing, maintaining his result in third place, but approaching 10 percent.

Rafał Trzaskowski is the leader of the new CBOS poll. In second place is Karol Nawrocki, who has a significant advantage over Sławomir Mentzen.
