Millbury approves MBTA-compliant zoning district - The Millbury-Sutton Chronicle

More than 150 Millbury voters turned out to approve one of two MBTA community compliant zoning districts last night, as the town takes its place with most of the 177 communities that are required to have the zoning in place by July 14. Though anti-state-government sentiment was high and applause for that sentiment was loud, in the end, considerations of the consequences seemed to rule the day.

NORFOLK — Residents easily approved a $55.2 million budget for the fiscal year starting July 1 and polished off other business at Wednesday’s annual town meeting, including revising a zoning district created to comply with the MBTA Communities Act.
