PN Leads Operative Closing of Rivers and Spas in Monsignor Nouel Before Red Alert by Vaguada

The National Police, through its Regional Directorate Cibao Sur, led a joint operation for the closure of rivers and spas in the province of Monseñor Nouel, as a preventive measure in response to the red alert issued by the Emergency Operations Centre (COE) and the National Bureau of Meteorology (ONAMET), due to the effects of a flood that has an impact on the country.

The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) reported this Friday the suspension of the classroom classes in the provinces Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal and Monseñor Nouel, as a preventive measure in the face of the intense rains that affect different areas of the country.
