Car crashes into pole knocking out power to homes and businesses

A 42-year-old driver has been taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

MONSEY: Car Crashes Into Utility Pole at Remsen Avenue and Grove Street

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Remsen Avenue and Grove Street, where a vehicle struck an electric pole. Hatzoloh EMS, Ramapo Police, the Monsey Fire Department, and Chaverim of Rockland all responded to the scene. Minor injuries were reported.
